Republic of Letters Books (2026)

Many thanks to the owners of Republic of Letters Books in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, for hosting the Midwest-Themed 2025 Exhibit over the weekend of August 14–16, 2026. This marked the second time the bookstore has hosted an exhibit.

 

The display took place concurrently with the Cradle of American Haiku Festival, which was held in Mineral Point that same weekend. For the festival's opening presentation, curator Matthew Markworth discussed the following topics: origins of the rock garden, how an exhibit is created, an overview of the exhibits, previous venues and events, and the theme reveal for next year.
